The Welcome Club for people aged 60+ has been running for about 7 years.

We meet at Reading Community Church, 533 Oxford Road, Reading, on the first Friday of

every month between 3pm-6pm.

We are a small group of people who are always keen to welcome newcomers.

The emphasis is on friendship and fun, not to mention the food!

We begin with a cup of tea and a chat before we settle down to our activities which may

include games, quizzes, crafts, and anything else we can think of!

There is a short time for ‘Thought for the day’ before we have our tea. In the warmer

months we have sandwiches and cakes, and when the weather turns cold we also include soup.
