Seekers is the children’s Ministry of Reading Community Church and runs a number of different activites on a Sunday and throughout the week for children up to year 6.

Rainbow is a well established parent and toddler group that has run for 30 years in Tilehurst. The sessions are on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings between 10am-11.30am during term time. Come and enjoy fellowship with other mums, dads and grandparents while the children have an opportunity to play in a safe environment. Other events are run throughout the year such as craft evenings and ladies evenings.

Seekers Friday Nights happen in both Calcot and the Oxford Road for children of a primary school age. They are a mix of fun, games, competitions, and an opportunity to learn things like puppetry and circus skills. Each session will also have a slot where children are encouraged to look at the message that the Bible brings, and how we apply it to our lives.
Seekers also runs a yearly residential weekend which is always lot’s of fun

Seekers growth groups are single gender groups  for children who have expressed a desire to look more deeply into their faith, and also grow strong supportive relationships with each other. These will meet during the week either at one of the church buildings, or in a home under the leadership of one of the seekers leaders.

On Sunday mornings Seekers on Sunday (SOS) is a fun and exciting place to learn about the truth of Jesus Christ, to spend time together in God’s presence, and find out the exciting ways God wants to use the children in his church. With a mix of games, crafts, Seekers TV, and great teaching there will always be something to engage children and build their faith.

All leaders and volunteers working with children in RCC have been CRB checked and have supplied references.
